More than a history of commercial airplane cabins, this presentation will explore the reasons behind the designs. What problems drove cabin innovations in the past? What are the drivers that will shape future designs? Everyone knows a good product or service must meet the needs of the target audience and there are many methods to uncover those needs. What methods has Boeing used to uncover passenger needs? Are they working? We believe our cabin designs have a consistent DNA. This presentation will provide an opportunity to see how that DNA has expressed itself since the dawn of commercial air transport.
